Voice Assessment
How Do You Sound?
Identify your vocal strengths and challenges through analysis and feedback.
Sometimes we judge people based on the sound of their voice. In the corporate world how you sound is vitally important.
In this assessment David will:
- Record and play back your voice to give you an awareness of how you actually sound to others.
- Analyse and give feedback on all aspects of your voice including, projection, articulation, clarity and vocal impact.
- Identify your specific voice coaching needs, relevant to the demands of your job and advise you on areas that need improvement.
This is a 1-hour session conducted 1:1 at your office or online.
Voice Intensive
Developed from years of experience coaching senior leaders & legal professionals globally.
In boardrooms, client pitches, presentations and keynote speeches your ability to get your message across, influence your audience and make an impact, depends on your voice.
The Voice Intensive covers all the important vocal skills needed to speak with confidence and authority.
Focusing in detail on the science of the voice, vocal variety and other key vocal skills, this session will transform your voice to make you a dynamic and engaging speaker. It can be taken alone or as part of the Voice Intensive Program, which includes a 90-minute Embedding Skills session.
You will learn how to:
- Use vocal variety – pacing, pausing, intonation, stress and volume – for a more dynamic and engaging delivery.
- Use diaphragmatic breathing and vocal projection to speak
with more power and authority. - Use your voice to project gravitas and increase your
executive presence. - Use pronunciation and articulation for clearer
communication.
In this session we record and play back your voice for continual analysis and feedback. It is packed with practical speaking exercises, tips and techniques that will transform the way you speak.
This is a 3-hour session conducted 1-1 in our recording studio, at your office, or online. It can also be taken as part of the Voice Intensive Program.
Voice Intensive Program
Our Flagship Two-Part Program
This 4.5 hour program provides extensive recording, analysis and feedback on your voice. It will give you all the vocal skills needed for successful communication in your professional life.
Part One:
The 3-hour Voice Intensive focuses on all the key vocal skills needed to speak with confidence and authority. This includes projection, diaphragmatic breathing, articulation, pacing, pausing, volume and intonation. David invites you to bring your own speech or presentation, so that the session is highly relevant to you.
Part Two:
This 90-minute Embedding Skills session builds on and reinforces the skills already learned. The session is again tailored to your own speech or presentation, and will improve the structure, flow and delivery of your material.
This 4.5-hour Program is conducted 1:1 either at our recording studio, at your office, or online.
Projecting Gravitas
Learning how to speak with gravitas is an essential part of any leadership communication training.
But what is gravitas?
Gravitas is about communicating authentically and with authority, using both the power of your voice and physical presence. It’s the quality needed to communicate like a leader, project vision and inspire others.
Working with your own speech and presentation material, we record, play back and offer in-depth analysis of your unique communication style. Highly interactive and packed with practical exercises, you will learn the skills to project gravitas and speak like a leader.
You will learn how to:
- Develop a strong and powerful voice through
diaphragmatic breathing, using your chest voice, and
lowering your pitch. - Use vocal techniques to slow down your delivery for
impact, through pacing, pausing and chunking. - Explore techniques to find a good speaking posture that
supports a powerful voice. - Use your physical presence to underline your delivery and
engage your audience.
This is a 2-hour session conducted 1-1 at our studio, in your office or online.
Voice Coaching Masterclass
If you are already a good speaker, but have a specific speech, town hall, pitch or presentation that you want to prepare for, this is the session for you.
Working exclusively on your own material, this session provides an opportunity for intense practice on your delivery through the use of record, play back and analysis of your voice. It will enhance your vocal skills, so that you sound persuasive, dynamic and engaging.
The Voice Coaching Masterclass is designed for good speakers who want to polish their presentation skills for a specific speaking event.
The session is:
- Tailored to your own speech or presentation. It will help you fine-tune the structure, flow and delivery of your
material. - Provides an opportunity to familiarise yourself with your vocal delivery, and offers skills and techniques for further
improvement. - Focuses on the science of the voice (pitch, projection, diaphragmatic breathing) to add impact to your delivery.
