Your Credibility Builds Trust
Establishing your credibility is one gap in a ‘pitch toolkit’ that I see regularly when coaching people, especially entrepreneurs, because they equate it with ‘bragging’ or ‘showing off’.
But, talking about your achievements, your wins, your client’s wins (because of you), creates trust and helps build rapport. It will help a potential investor say YES.
I made this the central theme of my talk at the Entrepreneur Chapter meet-up organised by Joanna Hotung, entrepreneur, mentor and start-up incubator.
What she gives to the entrepreneur community is amazing, (you just have to look at how this group has grown) and if you need mentoring, I cannot recommend her enough.
