For over 15 years, I’ve also been the studio director and producer for the global toy manufacturer Vtech and Leapfrog, directing voiceover talent in Hong Kong.
Why Hong Kong?
With teams of games designers based here, manufacturing based in Southern China and a roster of extraordinarily talented voice artists in HK, it’s a perfect partnership.
It’s the gig I love doing most.
Because it nourishes the creative side of me.
Working with talent to bring out their best performances for character voices, songs, rap, narration, stories… the list goes on.
But, it also informs the work I do in the corporate world.
How I direct talent to use their best voice is how I coach clients to find their communication strengths.
And some of the talent I’ve had the privilege of directing have moved on to voice acting in Hollywood studios, Netflix, Disney, Broadway, London theatres and stand up comedy.
Maybe I’ll get a banker or a lawyer singing yet. Now, that could be a career booster 🤔
