Voice Over Training

I don’t just coach corporate executives, I also coach voice over artists.

30 years ago I dubbed my first Hong Kong action film. I was tasked with providing the many voices in crowd scenes, Kung Fu fight scenes and incidental characters.

I have such fond memories of those heady days of Hong Kong cinema.

And, what a training ground that turned out to be. It led to me doing voice overs for TV commercials, corporate videos, audio guides, e-learning videos…

15 years ago I put this experience into creating a Voice Over Training Program, walking people through every aspect a budding voice talent needs to be aware of, if they want to use their voice to earn money.

It’s not as easy as some people think, you know. Your voice needs to ‘sell’ the product, and that requires a clear understanding of how the voice works.

So great to work with stand up comedian and improv expert Pete Grella, spending time honing vocal skills, recording character voices, dubbing TV commercials and laughing non-stop along the way.
