I was delighted to run my flagship workshop ‘Storytelling For Business’ to the Evolve People Network in Dubai, an amazing group of HR, L&D and talent development professionals working in the UAE.

Founded by Emma Davies MCIPD, the group is growing exponentially, and rightly so, given that at its core is the remit to support people’s development.

The part of my workshop I love most is when people begin to share their stories to each other, following the three-act structure we have explored in detail during the session.

I get to eavesdrop on some amazing stories that are inspirational, life-affirming, transformational.

I hear them in a room, but then imagine those same stories being shared to their teams, colleagues, new hires, interns, at conferences, or as part of  a pitch or presentation.
