Seizing The Opportunity
Texts, emails and calls had failed in me managing to set up a Voice Intensive coaching session for a London client, as all my slots had been filled.
But a chance remark that I’d be in Prague, changed all that. We would be there at the same time.
Sure, it’s a holiday but is there ever really down time if you run your own business?
I’m my own worst enemy when it comes to boundaries, but I’ve done some of my best projects because of that.
Here’s what I thought:
– I have all my audio equipment with me
– I have a 3-hr window
– I have a spare Voice Intensive manual (I always print one extra)
– I have a hotel that has a business suite.
And now I have a very happy London client who is primed and ready to deliver an important pitch next week.
Fellow coaches, what would you do if you were asked to help a client out on your vacation?
