We loved Robin Pecknold’s (Fleet Foxes) thoughts about voice and his description of it as “the first instrument…the most expressive one”. He says, “every other instrument is trying to mimic the voice in one way or the other, and it’s just an infinite, evocative tool.” This is so on point for all our work with executives, and why learning to understand and use all the nuances of voice is key to real, meaningful, successful communication.
