Gone are the days of hopping on a plane to run workshops around Asia. I kinda miss those days, but I’m also happy to embrace the new opportunities for learning and employee development that have since arisen.

I loathe the term ‘new normal’ but online coaching and hybrid sessions seem to have been embraced fully by companies who are committed to staff training irrespective of geographical restrictions. It’s a win-win for them and for us as coaches.

So, it was great to be invited back again by Van Cleef & Arpels as part of their 3-day Learning & Development program for the Asia-wide High Jewelry team;  Korea, China, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and my beloved Hong Kong.

It’s a new thing for me running sessions in English, with simultaneous translation, and bi-lingual workshop materials, but the VCA training management team have been superb in making this process seamless.

What an indulgence then to be working face to face with the Hong Kong team, as well as the Macau team online.

I’m looking forward to the next four regional workshops.
