Good Speaker Becomes Great Speaker
It’s not often I get to work with someone who quite literally sounded like a different person at the end of our voice coaching session. Quite the transformation.
Pitching for funding is a tricky one.
How fast, how energetic? What hooks do you need to draw the audience in? How can you weave in facts, figures, statistics etc but avoid an information dump?
Kudos to Alina Polyakova, the founder of an amazing resource for women, Mamahood App, who trusted my process of voice coaching to dig into the detail of her already great content, re-frame, record, analyse, re-record, tweak, analyse… on and on and on until she had a killer pitch delivery.
This to me, is what makes it all worthwhile. Willingness to take chances, be open to feedback, no matter how strong, and make changes.
And, the kicker is that it’s all recorded. So, you have a record of your continually improving voice.
